"I have seen things you people wouldn't believe..."

About Tannhauser Central

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."

-- Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer, 1982) --

Roy Batty’s monologue is hands down one of the best moments in movie history -maybe even history...! (If you don’t know which movie I’m talking about, then honestly, what are you even doing? Stop reading and go fix that. No joke. Go!) as it relates the profound sadness of the fact that we as individuals take with us all those memories and experiences we did not share and were important to us. They’re ours alone, and when we’re gone, so are they.

Now, I do not want to pretend that your life will be better by reading what I have to say about all of my movie and TV related stuff but you never know... you might enjoy it? Maybe even know what I am talking about and agree with me or, also no problem as long as we keep it civil, disagree with me! Who knows, you might convince me that Stanley Kubrick isn't one of the greatest directors of all time or that it is impossible to enjoy a Michael Bay movie.... Yes, those are the extremes we are talking about here at Tannhauser Central. If you feel the need, let me know below. We'll talk.

This is where I ramble about anything and everything related to movies, TV, and the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Who decides if there is a relation or not you may ask? The answer is simple: I do. Who am I? Think of me as the ghost of Roy Batty, sharing my C-Beams here at Tannhauser Central before they are lost in time, like tears in rain.

Roy Batty

Let's keep it civil!
